Who is this guy?
Leighton Dean is an author of sci-fi and cyberpunk thrillers, born in Carmarthenshire 1979. He honed his storytelling talent with tabletop role-playing games and online gaming forums before writing screenplays in 2005.
He jumped into novels in 2013, with a novelisation of his screenplay Gunboy. The book was published in March 2017.
He blasted into space with his second book, Save Our Souls, a science fiction disaster story set aboard the doomed cargo freighter Jian Seng.
In May 2017, Leighton bent the knee and was sworn in as a Knight of the Sci-Fi Roundtable.
A group of Science Fiction writers and readers/fans to discuss writing and other Science Fiction topics. But also a supportive faction dedicated to inspire each other and bring out the best in each other's writing.

Nanowrimo is an annual competition where you pledge to write 50,000 words in November. They also run Camp Nanowrimo in the summer and a Young Writer's Program. It's free, but they do take donations. It's a great cause.
Leighton entered Nanowrimo 2013 and wrote the first 63,000 words of Gunboy, his first novel.
